The Under the Radar Game of the Day returns to the Metro Atlantic tonight as the Siena Saints play host to the Iona Gaels.  These two teams enter play tonight tied for third place in the conference at 6-4 in MAAC play, two games behind Monmouth and one behind St. Peter’s.  The visiting Gaels sit at 13-8 overall and have won three of their last four games.  Jordan Washington continues to lead the way for Iona, including a very impressive 30 point effort last week against Fairfield.  Siena, which enters play tonight at 9-12 overall, was disappointing during the non-conference portion of the season after being our preseason pick to win the league.  The Saints have been playing much better lately, with 5 wins in their last 6 games.  Senior Brett Bisping led the team with 24 points and 9 rebounds in a win over Manhattan on Sunday.  The winner of tonight’s game moves into sole possession of third place and will remain within striking distance of the league’s top teams, while the loser will  certainly have their work cut out in the race for one of the top seeds in the conference tournament.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTED GAMES

-DAYTON AT VCU (Atlantic Ten).  Dayton could really use this win because it is perhaps their last chance to move themselves up the seed list.  Even if they don’t pick it up they should still land inside the bubble assuming they dominate the rest of the way, but a win would be really helpful.  As for VCU, I think they need to come close to winning out just to even have a chance of being selected.
