Under The Radar Game of the Day: Army at Navy

Army at Navy, 2:30 PM EST – CBS Sports Network

Today’s UTR Game of the Day is a no-brainer as we travel to Annapolis, Maryland for this season’s first installment of the Army-Navy rivalry. Both teams are currently 3-2 in the Patriot League and only one game out of first place (behind Bucknell and Boston University). Army’s highlights this season so far include 2 wins at The Citadel’s Bulldog Bash (against UMBC and Marist). The Black Knights are led by Jordan Fox who leads the team with 14.9 PPG and 4.4 APG. Matthew Wilson also averages 12.5 PPG and 6.1 RPG for Army.

Navy’s best game outside of Patriot League play came at home in their season opener against Pittsburgh – the Midshipmen defeated Pitt 71-62 on national TV (also on CBS-SN). Navy is led by a trio of players in double figures – Shawn Anderson (12.6 PPG), Bryce Dulin (11.3 PPG) and Hasan Abdullah (10.7 PPG). This game is also part of a doubleheader on CBS Sports Network – the Army-Navy women’s game will start at noon (also on CBS Sports Network in Navy’s Alumni Hall).
