Hoops HD Bracket Rundown: January 8th

This is our first Bracket Rundown Video Podcast of the season!

For Chad Sherwood’s Under the Radar Game of the Day between Oakland and Valpo, which would be a much bigger game if the Horizon League still played their conference tournament at campus sites – CLICK HERE

Chad is joined by David, John, and Jon as the four put together a consensus seed list where the select which teams they feel should be in the NCAA Tournament and where they should be seeded if today were Selection Sunday.  For the most part, they agree on the top three lines, but there is a lot of dissention after that.  One of the biggest debates is where teams like Chattanooga, Monmouth, Little Rock, and UT Arlington belong.  There was also quite a bit of debate on who the last teams in the field should be.  Chad Sherwood acts as host and arbitrator, and he has his work cut out for them.

Just to reiterate, this is where the HOOPS HD STAFF feels the teams should be seeded, not necessarily what they think the actual selection committee would do at this point.  Jon Teitel closely follows the actual selection committee and at the end of the show they ask him to talk about how the Hoops HD bracket differs from the one the actual committee would put out.
