The Pac Twelve, Big Twelve, Big Ten, and SEC got underway on Wednesday, as well as the second round of the ACC. The biggest upset was TCU’s win over Texas Tech. Duke also got a scare from NC State, and Pittsburgh beat Syracuse in a back-and-forth game that may end up knocking the Orange out of the field.
The Atlantic Ten, Mountain West, Conference USA, MEAC, SWAC, and Southland tournaments were also in action in their early rounds. The panel recaps all of the action from Wednesday, and previews the busiest day of Championship Week, which is the Thursday before Selection Sunday.
The Hoops HD Selection Committee also began their selection process tonight. We are not trying to guess the actual NCAA Selection Committee, but we have ten people who are going through the exact same process in selecting, seeding, and bracketing the teams, and we are doing it at the same pace and time that they are. We had our initial votes tonight on who should be in and who should be under consideration, and we show you that as well.
