Lehigh (3-2, 1-2 D1) at Drake (3-1, 2-1 D1) – 8:00 PM EST (ESPN3)
Tonight’s UTR Game of the Day takes us to the Heartland where the Drake Bulldogs will play host to the Mountain Hawks of Lehigh. Amidst a pair of non-D1 wins thus far. Lehigh’s only win against a D1 program thus far was a 74-70 victory at Albany two weeks ago. James Karnik currently leads the Mountain Hawks with 11.6 points a game and 6.6 rebounds a game; Jordan Cohen also averages 10.6 points and 4 assists per game as well.
Drake’s season has also been chalky so far – amidst a loss at Cincinnati, they do have a pair of buy wins against Kennesaw State and Kansas City (formerly UMKC) along with a non-D1 victory against Simpson College. Tonight will be the Bulldogs’ final tuneup before they travel south for the Gulf Coast Showcase next week. Liam Roberts averages 13.0 points a game and 5.3 rebounds a game.
