Ball State (11-8, 4-2) at Bowling Green (15-5, 6-1) – 7:00 PM EST (ESPN+)
Tonight’s UTR Game of the Day takes us to Bowling Green, Ohio where the hometown Falcons will host the Ball State Cardinals in a matchup of divisional leaders in the MAC. Ball State has gotten off to a 4-2 start thanks in large part to three home victories against Buffalo, Toledo and Miami. In the win against the RedHawks, head coach James Whitford became the third coach in BSU to win 100 games. Tahjai Teague averages 14.8 points a game and 8.9 rebounds a game for the Cardinals.
Bowling Green comes into tonight’s game fresh off of a victory up the road against archrival Toledo on Saturday night. Dylan Frye had 22 points and 6 assists to lead the Falcons to their first win at Toledo in seven tries. BG is also on a six-game winning streak to claim a share of first place with Akron in the MAC’s Eastern Division. Justin Turner leads Bowling Green with 17.6 points a game overall this season despite missing six games due to injury.
