-Louisville was cruising at Florida State last night and had an 11 point lead early on in the second half. They ended up losing by 15. Florida State TOTALLY dominated the game from that point on outscoring Louisville by 26 and winning 82-67.
-DAYTON AT GEORGE MASON (Atlantic Ten). Dayton keeps winning and will assuredly end up as a #1 or #2 seed if they win out. This is a chance for them to pick up another road win.
-DUKE AT WAKE FOREST (ACC). The last time Duke went on the road it didn’t go so well, but it probably isn’t that much of a setback. They still have a shot at finishing first in the ACC, and can still end up with a 1 or 2 seed depending on how things play out.
-KENTUCKY AT TEXAS A&M (SEC). TAMU has strung together a few wins, but really has their hands full tonight against a Kentucky team that is a lock for the tournament and has a path to a protected seed if they can keep winning at the clip they have been these past couple of weeks.
-OLE MISS AT AUBURN (SEC). Auburn is way inside the bubble and will likely end up as a protected seed. They just need to hold serve in games like this.
-IOWA AT MICHIGAN STATE (Big Ten). Both teams are inside the bubble and both appear to be locks. They are both playing for seeding and a win tonight would look good on either team’s resume.
-DEPAUL AT XAVIER (Big East). Xavier is inside the bubble right now and is just needing to hold serve. Losing at home to a team that’s outside the bubble is not a good way to hold serve and remain inside the bubble, so they need to get it done tonight.
-KANSAS STATE AT BAYLOR (Big 12). This is Baylor’s first game since Kansas had the big win over them this weekend. It may be their most winnable conference game, so they shouldn’t have too much trouble at all bouncing back.
-TEXAS TECH AT OKLAHOMA (Big 12). Both teams really need this win. Texas Tech appears to be safely inside the bubble, but they don’t want to slip up down the stretch. This would be a solid win which would help their resume and get them a step closer. Oklahoma is squarely on the bubble and this game has an extremely pivotal feel to it for them. If they win they’re a little safer, and if they don’t then they are really scrambling to stay above water.
-NC STATE AT NORTH CAROLINA (ACC). This is a rivalry game, but it is also a hugely important game for NC State. We currently have them inside the bubble, but do not have them labeled as safe. A loss to a sub-NIT caliber team (and it’s strange describing UNC that way) would be really damaging.
-MEMPHIS AT SMU (American). Memphis is still outside the bubble, but barely. They basically need to win out. SMU has a good overall record and beating them on the road won’t be easy, but it’s the kind of game that Memphis needs to be able to win to show that they belong in the field.
-ALABAMA AT MISSISSIPPI STATE (SEC). Mississippi State is squarely on the bubble and needs to hold serve in games at home against teams that are outside the bubble.
-COLORADO STATE AT SAN DIEGO STATE (Mountain West). This is San Diego State’s first game since their first loss of the season. I think they’ll still end up with a #1 seed if they win out through the conference tournament, which is something that they are good enough to do.
-SAN JOSE STATE AT UTAH STATE (Mountain West). Utah State is squarely on the bubble and a loss at home like this could sink them for good. This is essentially a buy game, so it’s very important that they hold serve.
