The Hoops HD Selection Committee – Sunday, March 13

The Hoops HD Committee does not try and guess the actual committee.  We just put together a bracket based on what we think it should be.  Jon Teitel DOES try and guess the actual committee, and he is among the best in the world at it! – CLICK HERE TO CHECK OUT HIS LATEST BRACKET

Our final Hoops HD Selection Committee meeting took place this afternoon – after we finished scrubbing our Seed List, our Committee made a notable last-second motion to remove Notre Dame from the field. It would take two “no” votes to kill the motion, but only one member voted no and the Irish were removed from the field. After throwing Notre Dame back into Under Consideration with Oklahoma/Xavier/BYU/SMU, Oklahoma was named as our new A-10 Contingency team with Xavier/Notre Dame/BYU/SMU being our new First Four out.

That turned out to be a moot point after Richmond came back in the final minute to defeat Davidson in the A-10 Championship and steal a bid that would have gone to Oklahoma. After some last-minute scrubs that included moving Tennessee up to the #2 line with their win in the SEC Championship game, our next steps were to do a final scrub of the seed list and then bracket the 68 remaining teams.

And here is our final Hoops HD Selection Committee bracket:
