Tonight’s feature conference is the Northeast Conference, which is perhaps the weakest overall league in D1, but still one of the most exciting. The majority of the games last week came down to the final minutes, which seems to be how it always goes in this conference. Fairleigh Dickinson and Saint Francis U are off to good starts, but they will both continue to be challenged throughout the season.
From there we run through the other 22 UTR leagues and discuss UMass Lowell’s blowout win against Vermont which puts them back on top of the America East, UNC Wilmington’s thrilling near upset over College of Charleston tonight in the Colonial, UC Santa Barbara’s strong start in the Big West, Florida Atlantic’s great start in CUSA and how they’re nearing the top 25, Oral Roberts’s great start out in the Summit League, and strength at the top of both the Sun Belt and the WAC. We discuss all that, and more! And, as we do every week, we close with this week’s UTR Top Ten.
And for all you radio lovers, below is an audio only version of the show…
