Tonight’s UTR Game of the Day takes place in Peoria, Illinois for a top-flight matchup in the Missouri Valley between the conference leader Southern Illinois Salukis and the Bradley Braves. SIU has now won 5 games in a row and remains in a tie for 1st in the standings with Belmont. Kendall Lewis hit a shot with 32 seconds remaining that put the Salukis up for good in their last outing against Murray State.

Bradley has not gone streaking in conference play like Southern Illinois has, but they have scraped together enough wins to remain a game behind SIU in the conference standings. The Braves were undefeated at home until Ben Sheppard’s game-winning shot with 3 seconds remaining gave Belmont a clutch 2-point win back on January 21st. Up until that game, Bradley had won 17 straight games at home.
