Today’s UTR Game of the Day takes us to the Music City where the Drake Bulldogs visit the Belmont Bruins. Drake comes into today’s game having won 9 out of their last 10 games; the only slip-up was a 79-78 overtime loss at UAB. The Bulldogs have won their first 3 league contests against teams in the bottom half of the standings (Illinois State, Missouri State and Valparaiso). Tucker DeVries (19.2 PPG, 6,5 RPG, 3.6 APG) continues to be the player to watch for the Bulldogs.

Belmont suffered their first league loss earlier in the week with a 73-63 loss at Southern Illinois. The Bruins have spent 3 out of their last 4 games on the road; they did get a win at Middle Tennessee State and then followed that up with a tough loss at Samford. Cade Tyson (17.4 PPG), Malik Dia (17.1 PPG) and Ja’Kobi Gillespie (16.2 PPG, 4.1 APG) give Belmont a triple threat on the court.
