Tonight’s feature conference is the Horizon League, where Oakland is out to a surprising start after struggling through most of their OOC schedule. They had a big win tonight against Youngstown State to maintain their hold on 1st place. Purdue Fort Wayne, who we were the biggest on coming into league play, has struggled since the start of conference play.
From there, we run through the other 21 UTR leagues and discuss how teams like Grand Canyon and Princeton are looking more and more like they could land inside the bubble and make the NCAA Tournament even if they don’t win their conference tournaments. Samford from the SoCon now has the longest winning streak in the nation after their big win at Western Carolina. McNeese also continues to rack up wins out of the Southland, and teams like Akron and UC Irvine are starting to look a lot better. We discuss all that, and more! And, as we do every week, we close with our UTR Top Ten.
And for all you radio lovers, below is an audio only version of the show…
