It’s the season finale of Under the Radar! Our Championship Week Video Notebooks begin this Sunday, so we aren’t going away, but this is the last UTR Video Podcast in this format. Tonight’s featured conference is the Metro Atlantic, which is one of the biggest logjams of any league with the top five teams all within one game of each other. Quinnipiac was seemingly running away with it, but they’ve hit a bit of a skid and teams like Fairfield, Marist, and Niagara are now coming on strong.
From there we move on to the other 21 UTR conferences and look at all the standings as we go into the final two weeks (and in some cases the final two days) of the regular season. Teams like Vermont, McNeese, High Point, and Samford have already clinched the top seeds. Grand Canyon, who seemed to be cruising through the WAC and was in position to get an at-large, had a rough week with two straight losses and is now looking like they’ll need the auto-bid. The Ivy League still has three really strong teams in Cornell, Yale, and Princeton, and we discuss Princeton’s chances of getting an at-large. We discuss all that, and more! And, as we do every week, we close with this week’s UTR Top Ten.
And for all you radio lovers, below is an audio only version of the show…
