St. Thomas (10-5, 0-0) at North Dakota State (11-4, 0-0) – 8:00 PM ET (WDAY/Summit TV)
Tonight’s UTR Game of the Day marks the Summit League opener between the two teams with the best out-of-conference metrics thus far. The Tommies of St. Thomas cross the Red River (of the North) to take on the North Dakota State Bison. NDSU comes into tonight’s game on an 8-game winning streak; their best win was a 3-point win at Butler where they got out to a 20+ point lead and survived a late Butler comeback bid. Jacari White averages 16.5 points a game for the Bison.
St. Thomas had a 6-game winning streak snapped at UC-Riverside in their last game; they ended up falling 81-79 in overtime to the Highlanders. Two of the wins that came during that streak were road wins at Northern Colorado and Bowling Green. Drake Dobbs averages 11.3 points a game and 3.5 assists a game for the Tommies.
