Welcome to the 2026-2027 HOOPS HD NCAA Tournament Survival Board.  This is the list of teams that mathematically have a chance to make the NCAA tournament and thus (in theory) win the national championship.  It will be updated regularly as teams get eliminated.

Le Moyne (NEC) has completed their transitional period and will be eligible for the NCAA Tournament in 2026-27. Mercyhurst (NEC) and West Georgia (United) are third year transitional teams that will be eligible for the NCAA Tournament beginning in 2027-28. New Haven (NEC) is a second year transitional team that will be eligible for the NCAA Tournament beginning in 2028-29. West Florida (A-Sun) is new to Division I and is a first year transitional team that will be eligible for the NCAA Tournament beginning in 2029-30.

Alabama A&M and Detroit Mercy will be ineligible for the 2026-27 postseason due to an APR ban.
