David Griggs Seed List: Friday March 15th

-Below is my current seed list of all the teams that are in automatically, in as at-larges, under consideration, or still playing. It is in desperate need of scrubbing, and will change throughout the day as more results come in.

-Many feel that Charlotte is on the bubble. I just don’t see how. I have eliminated them from consideration. They did win an exciting and bizarre game against Richmond yesterday, but I felt they were out before that, and I don’t see why beating a team that’s also out would constitute being put in.

-I think La Salle is in regardless of what happens today, but they are dangerously close to the bubble. A win would seal the deal. I think they’re reasonably safe without it, but not entirely safe. They did win the Big Five, but I don’t think that matters outside of the notable wins they obtained while winning it. It’s a mythical conference.

-Utah is trying to play the role of spoiler in the Pac Twelve. They struggled all year, but have played their way into the conference semis.

-Xavier, Saint John’s, Louisiana Tech and Denver were all under consideration yesterday, but after failing to win a single game in their conference tournaments I took them all out. I still like Denver’s team, but can’t see the committee taking them with such a weak profile.
