Hoops HD Bracket Rundown: March 3rd

NOTE:  The show was recored on the evening of Thursday, March 3rd, but for the teams seeded #11th or better it only takes games into account that were played through March 2nd.  Specifically, Little Rock’s loss to Appalachian State, UConn’s loss to SMU, and Cincinnati’s loss to Houston were not considered

Six members of the Hoops HD staff submitted their seed lists to Chad Sherwood.  They were then tallied, up, averaged up, ranked, and then bracketed based on the rankings.  There is a Selection Sunday type feel to the show as they reveal the results of the bracket line by line, and the panel discusses each team as the bracket is being revealed.  The individuals talk about who they feel is overseeded, underseeded, and who they feel should have gotten in or who should have been left out.  They also discuss how good they feel each team is, and talk about which ones they wouldn’t want to face in March.

The staff is not attempting to guess the selection committee, but rather to show what they personally think the tournament should look like…
