Championship Week Video Notebook: Friday, March 4th

Thursday was another exciting day of conference tournament action.  All four quarterfinal games in the Patriot were thrilling as Army advanced to the semifinals where they will actually host a game, and the first place team Bucknell was eliminated in a huge upset loss at home to Holy Cross.

Craziness was also the theme in the Atlantic Sun as top seeded North Florida was blown out by Florida Gulf Coast, but can still win the automatic bid IF Stetson manages to beat Gulf Coast in the championship game.  Stetson, the #7 seed, has won two road games to advance to the finals, but since they’re ineligible, North Florida would go if Stetson were to win the tournament.

We also had two exciting games in the Ohio Valley, and three good games in the Big South, including a thrilling finish as Presbyterian hit a shot at the buzzer to beat Radford and win their first ever conference tournament game.

Things also got underway in the Missouri Valley and Metro Atlantic, where we also had a couple of thrilling finishes.
