Long Island (1-5, 1-5 D1) vs. North Florida (4-3, 2-3 D1) – 4:30 PM EST

Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to today’s UTR Game of the Day in Las Vegas – this will be the second game of today’s undercard of the Las Vegas Holiday Invitational (Tennessee State-Cal Poly is the first game). As befitting most teams in the Northeast Conference, the Sharks of LIU have opened the season with a challenging schedule that includes losses at Rhode Island, George Mason as well as San Diego State and Texas Tech (both of whom are in the featured portion of the Las Vegas Invitational). Raiquan Clark averages over 20 points a game for the Sharks; Ty Flowers is averaging a double-double (14.5 PPG, 11.8 RPG) through six games as well.

North Florida comes into the game with a record bloated with 2 non-D1 wins, but they have also beaten Georgia Southern and Southern Miss at home. They also have losses at Florida and to Creighton and Iowa on the road (the other two main event Las Vegas Invitational teams). Carter Hendricksen leads the Ospreys with 15.7 points a game and 8.6 rebounds a game through their first seven games.
