Under The Radar: January 8th

Chad, David, and John are back and one of the big topics of discussions was perhaps the biggest upset that an Under the Radar team has endured this year, and that was Stephen F Austin’s home loss to TAMUCC.  TAMUCC is outside the top 300 in virtually all the metrics, so the idea that SFA would lose to them at home is kind of preposterous.

The feature conference is the Colonial tonight, and although it’s early, it is already shaping up to be a really intriguing season with College of Charleston suddenly playing well, William & Mary looking like a surprise team, and Hofstra and Northeastern who can still be dangerous.

After that we focus on the other 21 UTR leagues and discuss Vermont’s continued struggles, Stony Brook’s big early conference game wins, what should be a fun season in the Ivy League, Little Rock’s surprising 5-0 in Sun Belt play, the overall strength of the MAC, and a big week in the SoCon.  And as always, we end with this week’s UTR Top Ten.

And for all you radio lovers, below is an audio only version of the show…
