Tuesdays are typically MACtion days on UTR, and today is no exception as the Toledo Rockets crisscross the state of Ohio to take on the Kent State Golden Flashes. The Rockets are currently on a five game winning streak, including their last two games against MAC foes Western Michigan and Northern Illinois. A trio of Rockets averages at least 14 points a game, led by Marreon Jackson (15.3 PPG), Ryan Rollins (14.4 PPG) and Setric Millner Jr. (14.1 PPG).
Despite a 19-point and 8-rebound effort from Michael Nuga, Kent State fell at Akron 66-62 in their MAC opener in their last outing. Prior to that, Kent had won two straight games against Horizon League foes NKU and Detroit Mercy.
