Under the Radar: February 23rd

It’s hard to believe, but this is the season finale of Under the Radar!  Tonight’s feature conference is the MAC, which has turned into a four way race between Ohio U, Toledo, Kent State, and Buffalo.  All four teams have looked really good, it should make for a very exciting conference tournament if the chalk holds, and all four are capable of giving someone fits in the Round of 64.

From there we run through the other 21 leagues and discuss North Texas’s big win at UAB and how we now feel they belong inside the bubble even if they don’t win the Conference USA Tournament, how Belmont should get a serious look from the committee if they can win at Murray State tomorrow, South Dakota State’s dominance of the Summit League and how dangerous they are, Longwood’s best season ever as they have wrapped up first place in the Big South, Loyola Chicago’s struggles and how they will not finish the season in first place if they fall to Northern Iowa this weekend, and more.  And, as we do every week, we close with this week’s UTR Top Ten.

And for all you radio lovers, below is an audio only version of the show…
