Today’s Under the Radar Game of the Day takes us to one of our favorite stops in Boone, North Carolina, home of the Appalachian State Mountaineers. This is actually the second game of three for both teams in a multi-team event that is being hosted by Appalachian State. Kennesaw State got their first win against a D1 foe against Southeastern Louisiana yesterday – 72-68 was the margin of victory. The Owls were 10-for-19 behind the arc.
App State opened up their MTE with a surprising 63-58 loss to Campbell despite 21 points from Donovan Gregory. It was surprising in the sense that the Mountaineers were coming off of a 1-point win at Louisville earlier in the week; App State never trailed in that contest.
