Under the Radar – Nov 30th

Tonight’s featured conference is Conference USA.  We discuss the great starts that UAB is off to, Charlotte’s big win at Davidson and the Hornets Nest Trophy that they won, and Florida Atlantic’s big start.  We talk about how the conference having fewer teams and being a single division format actually makes it more compelling.  And, we continue to take a second, third, and fourth look at the ridiculous Hornets Nest Trophy that looks more like an elephant turd than a hornets nest.

From there we run through the other 21 Under the Radar leagues and discuss the good start that Towson (despite one surprising loss) and Charleston are off to in the Colonial, UC Irvine’s near upset at San Diego State and how even without it they’ve got some really good wins on their resume already, Kent State’s near upset win at Houston, Sam Houston’s good start, Drake’s loss at Indiana State and what that does to their chances of making the field, and much more.  And, as we do every week, we finish up with this week’s UTR Top Ten.

And for all you radio lovers, below is an audio only version of the show…
