Howard (1-1) at James Madison (2-0) – 4:00 PM ET
Today’s UTR Game of the Day marks the home debut for the James Madison Dukes as they host the Howard Bison. The Dukes made a big splash on Opening Night with a 79-76 victory against 4th-ranked Michigan State in overtime. They followed up that effort with an equally stunning 113-108 overtime win at Kent State; that win was part of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. Terrence Edwards Jr. has averaged 24.5 points a game thus far for JMU.
Howard opened their season at the Burr against former MEAC friends Hampton with a 92-80 victory. The Bison nearly followed that up with a road win against an ACC school, but ended up losing at Georgia Tech 88-85. Through 2 games, Bryce Harris has averaged 20 points a game and 6.5 rebounds a game for Howard.
