Today’s UTR Game of the Day takes us to the Jersey Shore for a game between the Princeton Tigers and the hometown Monmouth Hawks. Monmouth returns home to the Hawks’ Nest for the first time this year; they opened the season with a loss at George Mason 72-61. The Hawks did rebound nicely with a 73-65 win at West Virginia last week; Xander Rice (son of head coach King Rice) led the Hawks with 30 points; Jack Collins also had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Monmouth.

Princeton comes into today’s game unbeaten; the Tigers have done all their damage away from home this season. They started the season with a 68-61 win against Rutgers on a neutral court in Trenton; Princeton followed up that result with a pair of road wins at Hofstra and Duquesne. Matt Allocco had 23 points for the Tigers against Duquesne.
