The Hoops HD Report (Nov 27th)

Tonight, we recap one of the busiest and most important weeks of the year as we look back on all the action from the in-season tournaments last week. Purdue is the new #1 team in both polls, and they certainly earned it by winning the Maui Invitational and beating Tennessee, Gonzaga, and Marquette along the way. Marquette also had some big wins, and is also deservedly high in the poll. The SEC also has a lot of teams that look good early, and they’ll be tested this week as the ACC/SEC Challenge gets underway. We take a look at both of those leagues and all of the big match-ups, including Miami FL at Kentucky, and Clemson vs Alabama. The Mountain West is also off to a good start, particularly Colorado State who blew out Creighton in their event in Kansas City last week. Villanova is also off to an impressive start with three big wins last week. We also look at teams like Saint Mary’s and Missouri, who have struggled more than we expected them to. We discuss all that, and more!
