Tonight’s UTR Game of the Day takes us back to campus sites where the one-time A-Sun Troy Trojans visit the current A-Sun Eastern Kentucky Colonels. Troy has only had one D1 victory so far this season; they defeated Grambling 80-67 in what was part of a MTE that also featured Sam Houston State. (Sam Houston State actually won that event with wins against Troy and Grambling) Christon Eugene had 23 points for the Trojans in their win against Grambling.
Eastern Kentucky comes into tonight’ game looking for their first win against D1 competition. To date, they have losses against UT-Martin and Prairie View A&M. Isaiah Cozart leads the Colonels with 18.3 points a game and 10.5 rebounds per contest.
