Tonight’s UTR Game of the Day features the top two teams in the Big South where the High Point Panthers pay a visit to the UNC-Asheville Bulldogs. High Point is now on a 12-game winning streak that not only includes 9 wins in the Big South, but they have also beaten UNC-Greensboro 74-63 that began the aforementioned winning streak. Kezza Giffa had 26 points in High Point’s last game – a 78-68 win against Presbyterian.

So far, the only two losses in league play for UNC-Asheville have come on the road against both High Point and Gardner-Webb. The Bulldogs have already swept Winthrop, so we’re looking at what is a 3-team race if you include Gardner-Webb as another contender. Drew Pember averages 21 points a game and 7.6 rebounds a game for UNC-Asheville.
