Tonight’s UTR Game of the Day takes us to Bowling Green, Kentucky for a potential Conference USA championship preview between the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the host Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Louisiana Tech has won 10 out of their last 12 games to jump into a first-place tie in the conference standings with Sam Houston. In their last game, Isaiah Collier had 20 points in the Bulldogs’ 67-58 road win at New Mexico State.

Western Kentucky had a 5-game winning streak in conference play at the beginning of February; they won at Louisiana Tech 81-76 during this winning streak. Don McHenry led the Toppers with 20 points in that win. However, a loss at rival Middle Tennessee (the 100 Miles of Hate rivalry) knocked WKU two games behind both Louisiana Tech and Sam Houston in the conference standings.
